In life you have to what is the best for you and what really works for you, no one is in your shoes and no one is going to live your life for you, so please never feel as if you have to explain or justify your decisions or the path you have chosen for your self. I love Germany, I came here 25 years ago to be with my husband. It is something I have never regreted. Germany is my home, it isn't perfect but I can't imagine my self living in any other corner of the world... it doesn't mean that everyone, native German or not, would or should feel the same. And I get how you feel, because I would never willingy go back to the country I was born, even when I know that my place in society there is better than here... still it doesn't feel like home. So , as long as you are happy, live your life under your own terms, live where you feel home, because, as you young people say: YOLO 😊

I'm a local born and bred but my mother was German from Konigsberg (before the war) but now I'm seriously thinking of going to Germany, it's to hot and slow moving here and as a foreigner even though i was born here you will have a very difficult time to have a personal life(gf for example). We live in Cyprus already three years, we also came from Germany. In the beginning we lived in a rental house in Protaras, it was really nice there , but the rent got too expensive, so we had to move to Deryneia to cheaper appartment, but we don't like here at all because of the neigbours, they smoke all evening on balcony which is next to our bedroom, all the smoke comes to our balcony and bedroom ,we cant open the window doors , we told them so many times that they should smoke far from us , but nothing changes ,now is summer we can't open windows at night we have to use air conditioner, because they smoke at 3 o'clock, but not only they, most of the neigbours smoke. I wish to leave here as soon as possible, also maybe leave Cyprus, many people here smoke so much ,never had any problem with a smoker in western Europe lol . Also all the car driving is annoying all the time ,they use cars for everything. People don't like to walk here even in Nikosia i was there once i saw very few people outside, only cars .I guess one of the reasons are the poor condition of the pavements, they are missing sometimes so that you have to walk on the road for the cars which is dangerous. Also some outside parking places are in bad condition, not concreted at all. Cyprus is nice for tourists or if you live in a beautiful house with pool and close to the sea. It has beautiful beaches indeed i like Protaras very much but unfortunately it's closed in winter a bit boring without people. We also lived in Spain which i think has more beautiful cities and is better organized than Cyprus but the beaches are not so beautiful in Spain only in Tenerife.

Yeah only the rich are allowed to drive in Germany it seems...If your parents can't pay a liscence for you that kid is s- out of luck...In the USA we think even the poor should be able to drive so your perents can teach you and you do not have to go to a official driving school. I was shocked and fruious that at 40 years old and after having a liscence in the USA all my adult life Germany forced me to do a new liscence in Germany with lessons and tests and all cost: 2000 euros and I was lucky I passed it so quickly because you make one little mistake and you have to go back to school and pay more money
